Mountainland Supply Company became a local, employee stock owned plan (ESOP) company in August of 2018. As such, every employee has a vested interest in our success and yours. As owners, we know what you face in running your company and strive to make your business succeed in any way we can.
OUR HISTORY
Mountainland Supply began in 1947 when a group of friends, capitalizing on the post-World War II housing boom, started Provo Pipe and Plumbing on Center Street in Provo, Utah. In 1977 property was purchased next to Geneva Road just off Center Street in Orem and Provo Pipe and Plumbing moved out of Provo. This necessitated a name change and, after an inter-company contest, Mountainland Supply Pipe and Plumbing Company, (which was shortened to Mountainland Supply Company in 1986) was chosen. In 2016, Mountainland Supply merged with Mountain States Supply, expanding the Mountainland Brand all across Utah and Rock Springs, Wyoming. In 2018, we merged with Contractors Heating and Cooling and their 6 branches across Utah and chose to use the name Mountain Contractors Supply Group to refer to all companies and branches within the organization. Today our 950+ employees and fleet of over 300 trucks provide Plumbing, Waterworks, Landscape Irrigation, AG Irrigation, Power Equipment, Geotextiles, Truck Outfitting, Tools & Safety, and Pump & Drilling supplies to thousands of contractors, plumbers, landscapers, farmers, and homeowners under the unified Mountainland Supply Company brand.
We believe in giving back to the community in meaningful ways. Through our Giving Hope™ 501(3)c Charity we support Festival of Trees and Primary Children’s Hospital. We also make charitable donations to the Steve Young Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Follow The Flag, Children and the Earth, local 4-H groups, high schools in the area, and many other local charities.

About Pump & Drilling
In 2018, Mountainland Supply opened up a new division to help provide products and services for local pump & drilling dealers in Utah. Rapidly, Mountainland Pump & Drilling Supply has extended into Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, and soon, Kansas.
Mountainland Pump & Drilling sells to pump & drilling dealers. If you’re a homeowner, rancher, or farmer we will happily refer you to one of our exclusive pump & drilling dealers to take care of you.
Mountainland Pump & Drilling has some of the most experienced, and knowledgeable staff in the country. Many serve on boards, and committees, and help industry leaders move toward innovation and progressive change to better serve our communities.
